Description
The SECS/GEM gateway is an industrial protocol conversion and access product designed for semiconductor equipment communication scenarios. Deployed between the equipment layer and the upper-level Host/EAP, it uniformly converts data and control capabilities from non-SECS devices such as PLCs and HMIs into SECS/GEM interface outputs.
Out. The product adopts an embedded Linux architecture and supports rapid on-site deployment through Excel-based configuration.
On the device side, it supports various protocols including Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Modbus RTU over TCP, FINS TCP/UDP, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Yokogawa, Beckhoff, Eheng, Delta, Kunlun, and more, with new communication drivers expandable via dynamic shared libraries (SO). On the SECS side, it enables creating multiple passive services per port, covering core interactions such as S1F1/S1F3/S1F13 and S2F31/S2F49, while supporting S6F11 event reporting and S5F1 alarm reporting to achieve closed-loop functionality for data collection, status inquiry, remote commands, and event/alarm联动.
The product features built-in web-based operations and maintenance capabilities, supporting configuration management, status monitoring, start/stop control, real-time log streaming, log search and download, and firmware package upload, pre-check, upgrade, and rollback. It also includes mechanisms such as link keep-alive (LinkTest), automatic reconnection upon failure, runtime data feedback, and Systemd fallback control. Combined with a fixed LAN management port strategy, these features enhance on-site maintainability and system stability, making it ideal for semiconductor equipment networking, remote monitoring, and production line automation integration.
